This role involves providing nursing care for a wide variety of patients both Guernsey/Jersey Wards; we care for a range of needs including end-of-life care; rehabilitation and frailty. We work very closely with our Doctors and community teams. Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate. To assist registered nursing staff in providing high-quality individualized nursing care to a clearly defined group of patients, relatives, and carers. To assist the multidisciplinary team to aid patients in gaining independence and mobility in preparation for a safe discharge. To participate in providing a range of therapeutic activities for patients.
