Care Visitor Job Description

Reports To: Registered Manager

Salary Range: £ 10.50 - £ 13.00

Job Overview:

The Care Visitor will be responsible for supporting all Buckingham Home Care clients in their own homes enabling them to remain as independent as they are able.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support clients with personal care, meal preparation, medication and household tasks as per their individualised care plans
• Maintain professional boundaries at all times
• Follow Buckingham Home Care policies and procedures at all times
• Ensure all training is completed to the timeframes set by Buckingham Home Care
• Complete legible and detailed records as requirm8ed
• Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times
• Recognise, report and record any areas of concern

Person Specification:

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• A strong team player also able to work alone
• Kind and caring approach

Education / Qualifications:

• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary: From £10.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
