Health Care Assistant

We are looking for Healthcare Assistants, covering a variety of shifts, to join our team. Overtime will be available for those who are willing. Applicants must have, or are willing to work towards, NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care
What you will be doing:
· Helping residents to remain as active and independent as possible
· Supporting residents with providing personal care and at mealtimes
· Work as part of a team, helping nurses and implementing personalised care plans
· Help create a warm, friendly and stimulating environment for the residents
Experience, skills, and knowledge required for the role
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to take ownership and use initiative
- NVQ 2 Health and Social Care or willing to work towards
- Previous experience of working in an adult social care environment is an advantage
- Proactive, friendly and professional, with the confidence to effectively manage own workload
