We at Amethyst Home Care are looking for warm, professional and reliable care assistants to join our supportive and friendly team for 2023. If you are located in or around Croydon, and are looking for an opportunity with an established, valued agency, we look forward to hearing from you.

Job responsibilities include:

• Assisting service users with home management and personal care
• Helping service users with mobility
• Personal Care
• Administrating medication
• Light housework
• Shopping for groceries on behalf of clients
• Encouraging service users to maintain independence and promote wellbeing
• Preparing meals

Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months experience
• A full, valid driving license with daily access to a vehicle
• Availability on evenings and weekends, on a rotational basis
• A good command of the English language
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A caring and sensitive nature towards the needs of vulnerable people
