Job Description:
Care2 Training are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team in providing care and support to residents in our care homes that we are currently supplying. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality care and will have experience working in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and toileting
- Supporting residents with mobility and other physical needs
- Administering medication as directed by medical staff
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding
- Keeping accurate records of care provided
- Building strong relationships with residents and their families
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Health Care Assistant in a care home setting
- Mandatory and Statutory training (listed below)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- A compassionate and caring nature
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
