Peninsula RSI Chiropractic Wellness Center is a Chiropractic practice dedicated to improving health and well-being through lifestyle changes leading to sustainable, clinically significant health programs including weight loss, Lipo Laser, Neuropathy, Spinal Decompression and soon to be added Knee Decompression. Informed by cutting edge research and medical supervision, we tailor treatment plans to help patients through a personalized approach to optimize health and wellness.

Our professional staff includes experts in nutrition, chiropractic and physical therapy who meet with patients each week. All are passionate about empowering our patients with knowledge, personal support, and special techniques to achieve optimized health.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Program Specialist you’ll contribute to our growth through consultations and sales that provide information about our various program services and that help new patients get started. This role provides a vital communications link between our patients and our patient care team. You will help manage patient care throughout their care.

POSITION TITLE: Health and Wellness Sales Consultant
REPORTS TO: Office Manager and CEO
LOCATION: Redwood City CA
CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide extraordinary customer service. Build relationships that promote long-term patient success.
  • Respond to all incoming requests for information, either verbal or written, with a sense of urgency.
  • Identify and track prospects who are appropriate for our programs, and enroll them as new patients.
  • Describe the service and benefits of the programs in a persuasive manner while demonstrating empathy in order to successfully onboard new patients.
  • Utilize several technology platforms to perform duties, including electronic medical records (EMR), an appointment scheduling platform, etc.
  • Provide reporting data, and accurately establish patient records with vital information in the EMR system used by our patient care team.
  • Contribute to the success of the sales and marketing, consistently exceeding individual conversion targets.
  • Communicate effectively with team members across the office. This involves active participation in instant messaging, office conference calls, and monthly meetings, in addition to phone and email contact.
  • Communicate patient requests to appropriate team members.
  • Observe HIPAA (patient privacy) regulations in communication with members.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge base and application of Peninsula RSI Chiropractic Wellness Center’s policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitized work area at all times

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • B2C sales and some marketing.
  • Mission-driven and particularly passionate about the life-changing care we provide.
  • Prior experience in health and wellness, with specific interest in and basic knowledge of healthcare and nutrition.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. Able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences. Empathetic listener, sensitive, upbeat, optimistic, articulate, gracious, and tactful.
  • Ability to answer/process large volumes of telephone calls in a courteous, professional and clear manner.
  • Proficient in, EHR, patient appointment scheduling systems.
  • Basic motivational interviewing skill set.
  • Effective facilitation skills. Able to facilitate group discussions.
  • Attention to detail. Able to develop accurate written materials.
  • Action orientated. Able to follow up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Builds relationships with patients of varying backgrounds.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and team-based work environment and operates in a highly productive and efficient manner.
  • Open minded to continual process change and improvement.
