Aspris has an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety officer to join our Governance and Risk Team.

Aspris have services across the UK with teams who work to transform the lives of children, young people and adults, providing specialist education and residential facilities, fostering services and wellbeing centres to help them reach their full potential. This role will be vital in supporting these services to promote and facilitate a positive health and safety culture and can lead on the development, review and implementation of health and safety policies.

In this role you will provide professional health and safety service to children's homes, Schools in the Northwest Area. Providing accurate and timely advice and auditing performance against health and safety legislation and Aspris polices and standards.

You will be out on regular visits to the services within the North West and the role may involve staying away from home on a regular basis. Working in a remote home office environment with the ability to work independently, organise and fulfil a full working day and to display emotional resilience.

Aspris are looking for someone who has:

  • Must be qualified to NEBOSH General Certificate Level or equivalent
  • Computer literate and able to prepare and scrutinise reports, correspondence (emails, letters) and training presentations to a high standard
  • Background in Health, Social Care or Education preferable
  • Full driving license and access to own car
