IVH is a people focussed business that seeks individuals who wish to improve the lives of others as they grow in their profession. This role is designed to advance the postholder’s skills as a Health and Safety practitioner in a diverse and person focused environment. Starting from the candidate’s current experience, this role will involve mentorship and accredited certified training to develop towards the Health & Safety Advisor role competencies.
In this role you will be involved in building, enhancing, co-ordinating and supporting the Health and Safety Culture. You’ll help to establish, manage and monitor standards, processes, systems, communications, and training to ensure that all responsibilities associated with health & safety are adhered to. Playing a key role in the operational delivery and audit of health and safety, and supporting managers in their responsibilities within the health and safety culture.
We need people who have
Previous experience in operational H&S, either as your main duties or as part of wider responsibilities
Commitment to continuously develop and improve personal skills, competencies, and performance
Willingness to study and obtain a relevant H&S qualification (level 4 or above) as listed above
Knowledge of, or experience in the social housing sector is beneficial
