Working alongside the business owner, Health and Safety Bristol is looking for a qualified individual to join their team who is actively looking to progress within the industry
The main areas of responsibility include advising on H&S matters, updating policies and regulations, conducting training and investigations, completing RIDDOR reporting, implementing and monitoring policies and procedures, carrying out risk assessments and audits, performing Fire Risk Assessments, making presentations, collecting data, carrying out fire drills, and staying up-to-date on current legislation and changes.
To be an effective team contributor in this role, the candidate should possess excellent communication and reporting skills, be computer literate, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, and leadership qualities are essential. The candidate must also persistently resolve issues and adhere to recognised standards. The required qualifications and experience include the NEBOSH National General Certificate, technical membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, and relevant Continuing Professional Development. The necessary skills and competencies include negotiating, networking, using good judgment, being tolerant and respectful, communicating and presenting effectively, possessing a systematic approach, and being attentive to detail and thorough. Additionally, sales experience and self-assurance are desirable attributes.

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
