The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Head Veterinary Nurse to join our supportive and close-knit team here at Alcombe Vets, Osterley. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Head Nurse or RVN looking for a step up.
You will be the sole RVN on site however you will have plenty of support to allow you to thrive in this role working on a rotation between Ops, Consultations, and Inpatient Care. We encourage progression, development and welcome new ideas and ways of working.
Work life balance that tips the scale
We would welcome both full and part time applicants. Typically, our Head RVNs work full time, carrying out a 40-hour week over 4 or 5 days. However, we know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and we want to make it brilliantly easy for you to strike the right balance, therefore there are no weekends or OOH associated with this role. We can also discuss and offer condensed hours / days that work for you.
Salary
The salary for this role is up to £34,000 depending on experience.
About Us
Our practice is based on the corner of a beautiful parade of shops and restaurants, with a lovely cosy garden area for lunch breaks. We have a loyal client base and well-equipped surgery operating 4 days a week including routine procedures, dentals, and imaging, our nurses also have their own consult room.
Team and Culture
Alcombe Vets have a dedicated team of 4 Vets, 5 Nurses, 2 ANAs, 2 Practice Managers, 3 Receptionists & an Administrator.
Alcombe Vets, Osterley is a small, but close knit-team made up of 1 Vet, 1 Ana and 1 Receptionist. We are committed to individual career development and have access to a variety of in house CPD alongside generous CPD allowances.
Applicant Requirements
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Head Veterinary Nurse, but we will also accept applications from an RVN looking to further their career and train to become a Head Veterinary Nurse. We are also looking for an RVN who is comfortable working as the only RVN on site. Both full and part time applicants are welcome.
