Bridge Of Allan Sports Club is a family-oriented sports club with Squash, Tennis,

Responsibilities
As the Head Squash Coach, you will be responsible for running the club's
Squash coaching program, reporting to the Club's Committee, and working closely with the Club's Admin Team. Your primary duties will include:
- Running junior coaching sessions grouped by ability
- Running senior coaching sessions grouped by ability
- Collaborating with the admin team to ensure the smooth operation of the squash program
- Organising or supporting tournaments held at the club
- Growing squash participation by suggesting and organising events such as open days and parent/child events in coordination with the admin team and other sports coaches
- Supporting membership growth through squash outreach programs in schools
- Running school holiday multi-sport camps
- Pro-actively supporting Scottish Squash initiatives
Qualifications and Experience
- Scottish Squash Level 2 coaching award (or equivalent) is required

- Be or be willing to become a Scottish Squash registered coach
- Enjoyment in working with and supporting juniors in a sporting context
- Enthusiasm and a pleasant manner when working with club members and guests
- Current Child Wellbeing and Protection in Sport Training Certificate and
PVG certification
- First aid qualification preferred or willingness to obtain one
Employment Details
- Part-time position with flexibility based on the squash program requirements
- Permanent position will be offered following a successful 3-month probationary period
- Location: Bridge Of Allan Sports Club, Minewood Road, Bridge Of Allan
- No relocation expenses available
- Monthly retainer of £800 per month to cover hours spent running and developing the squash program (consideration for contract role structure)
- An annual performance bonus will be paid based upon the success of the multi-sport camps
Benefits
- Access to squash courts for private 1-to-1 and 1-to-2 lessons as demand dictates by members and guests
- Additional coaching qualifications as deemed necessary for career development will be funded by the club
Working Conditions
Typically, group coaching will take place late afternoon or evening and at the weekends (particularly during term time). Private coaching can take place at the convenience of the successful candidate.
