Job description

We now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced CCTV/Security Engineer to join the team in Leeds, to install, commission, service and maintain security systems at various sites.
The position:
- Permanent, full-time
- 40 hours per week

Main duties:
- To install, commission, service and maintain CCTV, intruder and access control systems at various sites, predominantly commercial with some domestic. To respond to business needs by potentially working away from home, on occasions.
- To have a good understanding of IP CCTV, with this being the strongest discipline.
- To ensure repairs and installations of systems are to a high standard and completed in a timely manner.
- To meet with clients and ensure a first-class service delivery when on-site.
- To produce reports and complete paperwork accurately and within the required time frame.
- To mentor apprentice/junior engineers to improve their knowledge and skill levels.
Required experience:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- A proven track record in the security sector, including knowledge of CCTV, intruder and access control
Required skills and attributes:
- Strong communication skills
- Experience of front-line customer contact
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Must be computer literate
Required licence or certification:
- A full, clean driving licence is essential
