The Faculty is looking to appoint a well-organised and enthusiastic person to run the Postgraduate Admissions Office. The Faculty welcomes applications from candidates who have excellent communication and time management skills, as well as able to work accurately and efficiently without close supervision, and have good interpersonal skills to be able to deal effectively with a wide range of people.
The job holder is expected to process postgraduate applications for admission, administer, with the Director of Admissions, the scoring and nominations for funding by the appropriate deadlines. Organise Induction sessions and Postgraduate Open Day. Prepare publicity for postgraduate courses and produce admissions statistics.
The duties are diverse and the jobholder must be able to tailor the support provided to the varying needs of the individuals concerned as well as respond diplomatically when faced with competing requests for assistance. The post calls for initiative, a high level of accuracy, a good eye for detail, an ability to work to strict deadlines and a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
This is a full-time post, and will involve a combination of office based and home working.
