We are currently recruiting for a Head Pastry Chef at Grand Jersey Hotel and Spa. Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa is a stylish and contemporary 5 Star Hotel, guaranteeing guests an exceptional experience. The hotel has 123 room and offers the ultimate comfort and glamour through a combination of award winning restaurants including the 4 Rosette Tassili restaurant, an exclusive, atmospheric Champagne Lounge and the luxurious, award winning Spa. You’ll enjoy being part of a team and love the fact that no day is the same Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa is busy all year round, and you will have the chance to delight out guests with your amazing afternoon teas, show stopping desserts and also be responsible for our 4 rosette restaurant, which is undergoing a refurbishment and striving to achieve further accoladed in the future. This role is offered with low cost live in accommodation for £79 per week including bills and meals. About you You must be able to demonstrate excellent culinary skills and a passion for food enjoy and keeping up to date with current food trends. You will have current Pastry Chef experience within a multi rosette or Michelin star operation and be comfortable working in fast paced environment, which will also include events and banqueting. It is essential you have an excellent understanding of kitchen hygiene and can demonstrate best practices. Be able to lead, coach and motivate a team to consistently food with passion and culinary excellence. Have excellent verbal and written English.
