DGP Intelsius Ltd is looking for a Head Packer to join their team, leading the high volume line.This role is to lead an existing team of Production Operatives, producing packaging systems for use within the Pharmaceutical and Life Science industries.The successful candidate will be an energetic individual with strong interpersonal skills, who likes to think on their feet for the benefit of the team. Intelsius has manufacturing facilities, distribution hubs and local offices situated throughout the world, including North America, Europe and Asia.Key skills and areas of responsibility· To have at least completed their Grade 1 Assessment – Ensuring they have basic product knowledge and familiarity with builds and warehouse locations.· Applicants will need to display positive leadership skills; to drive the team forward and encourage efficient output.· Applicants will need an exceptional eye for detail and be able to work in a methodical manner.· They will need to inspire each member of the team to develop their skills and work to a high standard – to lead by example and motivate other staff members.· The applicant will be someone who can adapt easily to change and deliver the best solution for both the business and our customers.· The candidate will demonstrate their ability to generate all documentation needed for each production run – including labels and barcodes for tracking purposes, ensuring all production paperwork is completed and checked for errors.· The candidate will be fully trained and can train others in all competencies under their control; to the required standard according to our SOP’s.· The Head Packer will be responsible for the Health and Safety of their team as well as their own – Including PPE and upholding company policy.· This Head Packer will be responsible for escalating any concerns directly to the Production Manager.· The Head Packer will possess a strong understanding of the importance of prioritising workload.· To be responsible for the behaviour and daily performance of their team.· Basic computer competence/understanding.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £23,488.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionFree parkingOn-site parkingSick paySchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental pay types:Yearly bonusAbility to commute/relocate:York: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: In personApplication deadline: 03/11/2023Reference ID: DGP1
