A+T design and manufacture instruments for the high-end yacht market of Superyachts and race boats. In its first few years of trading, it has developed a leading position and full range of instruments with equipment on over 500 of the world’s largest and fastest yachts. JOB SUMMARY
Dynamic and motivated sales professional with an understanding of the marine industry. Working alongside and as part of the Senior Leadership Team you will have a proactive and passionate approach, be responsible for developing new opportunities and will therefore play a key part in the company achieving its ambitious future growth plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet and exceed annual sales targets.
- Deliver against a sales plan, developing new opportunities and maximising sales.
- Proactively engage with target customers within the marine industry and work with marketing to develop relevant content.
- Manage and regularly visit marine electronic dealers as well as key customer accounts ranging from Shipyards and refit yards to yacht builders with the aim of maximising sales opportunities.
- Conduct sales demonstrations on an extensive electronic product portfolio
- Represent the company at regattas, boat shows and exhibitions such as METS, Amsterdam.
- Develop and in-depth knowledge of our market.
- Maintain a keen understanding of the range of products.
- Use CRM to manage all opportunities and maximise sales performance.
- Complete quotations and proposals, supported by the technical team.
- Work alongside other departments and demonstrate excellent teamwork and problem solving skills and initiative to help the company deliver outstanding customer service.
- Contribute towards new product development.
- Maintain exceptional communication including reporting.
- Contribute to company management meetings and direction.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Have experience in sales and account management.
- Possess strong marine industry knowledge or a technical sales background with boating experience.
- Comfortable managing, building and developing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met.
- Thrive on new challenges, enthusiastic and determined.
- Action-oriented, extremely well organised and can multitask effectively.
- High level of written and spoken English, strong on written and numerical accuracy.
- Familiar with CRM systems.
- Motivated by achieving and exceeding targets, demonstrating a winning attitude.
- Comfortable with regular overseas travel.
Renumeration package £80,000 - £100,000 per annum
