Overview

Joshua Ellis is a 250-year-old British Heritage brand which produces some of the finest fabrics and accessories in the world from their mill in Yorkshire, England.

After a significant period of growth across both the Joshua Ellis and Glen Isla brands, including the launch of two new websites, we are now looking for an experienced Head of Sales and Brand Development Manager to join our team.

Working directly with the Managing Director at our mill in West Yorkshire the successful candidate will have experience in selling premium end products into high end luxury brands, major department stores, multi-brand shops and online retailers, both in the UK and abroad.

They will be well presented, incredibly well organised and show a hunger to drive sales. While working as a key part of the sales team they will be given the autonomy and responsibility to drive sales and branded presence in the world’s finest stores.

They will have experience in running agents and have a strong understanding of the global fashion market.

The role is based at the mill in Batley, 10 miles south of Leeds, but regular domestic and international travel will be expected, particularly to the key markets of London, Paris and New York.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This is not an exhaustive list of duties but gives an outline of the role and responsibilities of this position.

· Proactive sales of Joshua Ellis and Glen Isla brands

· Delivery of sales and profitability targets.

· Daily management of agents

· Customer visits domestic and internationally

· Participation in seasonal trade shows

· Liaison with design teams to develop new collections

· Liaison with PR and Digital Marketing agencies to develop our brands through online and digital

PREFERRED SKILLS

Minimum 3 years’ experience in premium / luxury market sales – ideally international

Well-presented and organised

Proficient use of Microsoft Office

Second Language (French or Italian) – Desirable
