Job description
Working across both Tructyre and ATS Euromaster, as Head of Recruitment, this role will be responsible for all our recruitment across the broad range of roles that our 2,000 employees carry out. There is a strong emphasis on operational delivery in this role – making sure that we attract the right candidates and that they have a great experience at every stage of the recruitment process.
Working with the HR Director and HR Business Partners, this role will design and deliver an inclusive recruitment and resourcing strategy for the Company.
This role will be the leading resourcing expert for our business and we’ll be looking to you to help us build innovative recruitment strategies using your skills and knowledge to help us attract the best employees that we can.
As an expert in recruitment, you will work closely with and build credible working relationships with all internal stakeholders across Operations and support functions, ensuring that recruitment plans are aligned to the Company strategy and business requirements. This role will play a key part in supporting our operational teams to ensure that they are able to increase retention and recruit as closely as possible to our resourcing plan.
We work closely with agencies and a recruitment outsourcing partner – the Head of Recruitment will be expected to manage and review these relationships, making sure we’re getting the best value and performance from them.
This role is not only about recruitment, but also about retention – the post holder will be expected to use information and key HR metrics to help us to understand trends in employee turnover and exit interviews and to ensure that plans are in place to develop these issues working in partnership with the HR Team and key operational contacts.
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in a similar role as a Recruitment Manager/Resourcing Business Partner ideally within a fast paced, multi-sited, customer facing business. With experience of interviews, candidate screening and evaluation, you will be familiar with job boards, social media and professional networks.
With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the successful candidate will have a passion for delivering a great candidate experience, have a good commercial awareness and be an all-round team player.
The role will be based from our head office in Aston, Birmingham with a hybrid working arrangement in place – minimum of 2 days in the office.
In return you will be rewarded a basic salary of circa £55,000 per annum depending on experience, a car allowance and private healthcare. In addition, we offer a company bonus scheme, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), a generous flexible pension scheme and a competitive staff discount scheme on our range of products and service.
