Role:
Management of the company’s quality department and quality systems to ensure that our reputation for supplying high quality products is maintained and continues to improve.
This role is responsible for day-to-day inspection, ensuring our quality management system is robust and regularly improved, handling of customers complaints and for working with the rest of the management team on continuous improvement activities throughout the factory.
The role reports directly to the Managing Director and is responsible for 10 members of staff.
Candidate:
The successful candidate will be either degree educated of can demonstrate good levels of prior training together with a sound knowledge of quality and environmental management systems.
As the quality function lead of a high precision company, the candidate will have an extensive knowledge of different measurement techniques and how to deploy these in a fast-moving environment.
The role will require a good understanding of how to manage staff and possess excellent communication skills and have a demonstrable leadership ability. The candidate must be able to communicate comfortably and effectively at all levels of the company and will be highly numerate and literate.
Salary – commensurate with the skills and knowledge required for a senior and demanding role
