About The Role

With 120 years’ creative arts experience, we are on a quest to offer the highest standards of teaching and professional facilities, as well as a vibrant creative community. The Head of Quality Assurance & Enhancement will lead the QAE team and be responsible for ensuring that educational and compliance quality and standards are maintained. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a crucial part in the development of new approaches to quality and standards, helping to realise every student’s potential as well as meeting the ambitious aims of our refreshed Strategy. The Head of Quality Assurance & Enhancement will be responsible for working with senior leadership in developing processes that are innovative but mindful of regulatory obligations towards excellence.

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate an outlook that accords with the University's vision and values. You will be an experienced leader with a forward looking, innovative approach to quality and process.

We are keen to from candidates who will bring the following skill and experience:
  • Recent, relevant substantial experience of regulatory frameworks, quality assurance and enhancement in UK HE sector.
  • A track record in leading and implementing strategic, and multi stakeholder projects.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a complex professional team, ideally gained in a university / HE environment.
  • Experience in managing cross-organisation administrative processes and functions.
  • Ability to set and achieve departmental targets.
  • Experience in leading short, mid and long term business planning and budget planning.
