Job description
As the Head of Design, you are an important part of our Pnyx (Senior Leadership) Team leading our Design function, and supporting the business development of new opportunities through design governance over the delivery lifecycle. Whether it be engaging client pitches, company-wide presentations, or leading operational objectives within your department, excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership are the key attributes that you will bring to this role.
Outcomes in the first 3 months
- Working closely with our People and Culture team to hire an additional Product Designer for the team
- Understanding of our mission and vision, and how that translates to Design Strategy
- Built a cadence with your team, cascading best practices, coaching, and mentoring through weekly 1:1s.
Responsibilities
- Working cross-functionally to define product design vision, strategy and goals across
- Design and test new products and value propositions based on a deep understanding of business, customer, content, and technology opportunities
- Leading design rituals and developing standards that support a collaborative culture and improve the craft of the Product Design team.

You have:
- Leadership experience working as a Senior Product Designer with line management responsibilities, Head of Design, or related experience in a start-up or scale-up technology company
- Experience in owning and delivering a user-centered design process
- Experience with a range of user research methods
- Experience managing internal and external stakeholders
- Strong design communication and presentation skills
