Are you an experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Management professional, that can help make a real difference to the success of our expanding Group Procurement function?
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Procurement to develop a best-in-class Shared Service that delivers efficiency and compliance for Platform Housing Group.

This is an exciting new role where you will be instrumental in supporting the implementation of our new source to pay and core finance systems. Following a review of how we buy, we are establishing a central buying function to support the Group deliver quality and value for money, freeing up capability in our customer-facing teams, by sourcing the right goods and services at the right price.
You will also be pivotal in setting up the new Procurement Shared Service team and will support in the design and implementation of a transactional purchasing service across all areas of spend to deliver assurance, measurable procurement improvements, understanding and striving for the lowest cost to transact.
Some of the things we are looking for:
Proven experience of working at manager level or above in a Procurement or commercial function.
Experience of developing and managing a remote team
Experience of the Housing Sector or Public Sector procurement
Experience of leading a corporate procurement and supply chain function
Proven experience of developing and managing relationships with senior colleagues within a complex organisation
Proven experience of driving innovative solutions
A Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply or equivalent professional qualification would be considered desirable however we can support you in obtaining this
While this role is home based, you should have the ability to travel to Group offices and other locations as required. Our Group offices are located at Birmingham Business Park, Solihull and Central Park, Worcester. Your business mileage will be reimbursed as per the Inland Revenue mileage rates.
