Head of Prepress Services (full time)
This is a unique opportunity for a suitably knowledgeable, energetic and ‘hungry’ person to lead our Prepress Team within one of the oldest printing companies in the world.
The post is a middle management level appointment in a recent, exciting and far-reaching initiative by the Company to facilitate its growth strategy.
The successful candidate is required to develop and promote the Company’s prepress service provision in line with the strategies of the Senior Management Team, best practice and market trends, and to meet and exceed the variable ambitions and needs of customers.
The status of the post is not only indicative of the importance the Company attaches to the role, but equally such status is important in establishing confidence with our clients.

Post: Head of Prepress Services
Responsible to: Operations Director
Responsible for: The development, success, delivery and performance of all prepress services, which will include liaising with other department managers within the Company and co-ordinating provision of their requirements. Full budget responsibility for the department.
The Person: The successful candidate will be highly competent in the provision and continuous development of a competitive, timely and effective prepress service. The post-holder will be personable and used to B to B contact as well as demonstrating solutions direct to customers. Conversely, they will be highly responsive, practical, and totally hands-on in terms of production and product delivery.
The post-holder will be highly IT literate, proficient in:
· Adobe Creative Suite
· Agfa Apogee Prepress or comparable PDF prepress workflow
· Enfocus PitStop Pro
· Microsoft Office 365 business applications
· Data manipulation software
· Colour management software
· Mac and PC operating systems.
The post-holder is expected to have a pro-active mind-set by utilising the latest technology and be passionate in supporting the Company’s growth strategy by championing the continued adoption of automated systems.
The successful candidate will be a people orientated, supportive person whilst maintaining focus on the targets of the department.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week excluding meal breaks, Monday to Friday.
