Summary of main duties
- To work closely with our Head of Recruitment & Coaching to ensure Academy Development pathway is delivered to the highest possible standard.
- To oversee and assist in developing our Academy Shadow pathway.
- To assist with the development of players and coaches.
Responsibilities & Key Duties
Head of Player Development
1.To be responsible for one of our Academy Development sites effectively liaising with facility providers, coaches, parents and players.
2. Work closely with staff members to ensure the Academy continues to grow.
3. Work closely with key partners within the Academy Development and Shadow Academy structure.
4. Support the delivery of our U19s programme with coaching and administration responsibilities.
5. Work closely with players within the Academy to help aid individual growth.
6. Work with current staff members and Chairman to raise the club’s profile.
7. Help with the supervision of players within our Academy accommodation.
8. Lead player inductions with successful trialists within the Academy.
Essential Knowledge/Experience/Skills
9. Experience and/or knowledge of working with young players.
10. Experience and/or knowledge of working in the Academy department of a football club.
11. Ability to be able to work individually and within a team.
12. Ability to be able to manage projects.
13. Able to successfully create and maintain partnerships.
14. Excellent administration and communication skills.
Qualifications
15. UEFA B (or working towards)
16. Full UK Drivers Licence

Salary: £16,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
