ABOUT THE JOB:
The Head of People Listening and Engagement will be responsible for leading the development of the employee listening approach for Chanel that harnesses the voice of our employees globally and locally. The successful candidate will be passionate about employee engagement, shaping strategic frameworks, working across teams and contributing to making Chanel a great place to work. The role is responsible for coordinating operational activities including technology, design, data analysis, and modelling; and animating a community of leads across the House to ensure empowerment and that the needs at local level are met. This role will be a critical contributor to advancing our People strategy by facilitating the access to critical insights that will enable us to take agile, meaningful actions for people and measure impact within a rapidly changing environment and growing company.
WHAT IMPACT YOU CREATE AT CHANEL:
  • Plan, develop and manage our company-wide employee listening and engagement approach end to end; from current state, through creation to implementation to understand what is most important to our people
  • Manage operational aspects including community, budget and resourcing
  • Partner with People Solutions and Tech on technology; lead organization-wide survey design, implementation, execution and dashboards.
  • Partner with OPLT and People Development, D&I and other communities around soliciting employee voice around moments that matter for actionable insights to improve the employee experience.
  • Partner with employee data privacy and legal teams to ensure appropriate access to and use of employee survey data in support of employee trust and conformance with confidentiality expectations
  • Design, implement, and provide insights from the listening strategy to assess the pulse of the organization through various feedback mechanisms and develop data storytelling reports.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, share best practices and guidance to leads in regions, markets, divisions and corporate functions to support listening initiatives enterprise-wide.

  • Knowledge of statistical concepts
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills to audiences of various levels across a global organization
  • Ability to influence at all levels and knowledge of HR practices
