They have core pathology specific brands and provide a variety of digital content on multiple, accessible platforms, enabling health care professionals to access the latest news, innovations, and education in a succinct and convenient format.
The company is undergoing a significant period of growth and have created this new position to help increase the number of global partnerships with academic and industry organisations.
The role
Our client is seeking a Senior Partnerships Manager or Head of Partnerships to identify, build and strengthen partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotech companies, research institutes, medical research foundations and societies to support the expansion of education activities in each niche disease area.
The position requires a life science professional who is able to network and ‘join the dots’ within the medical and research community, identifying opportunities for medical education collaborations.
The successful candidate will be a high-profile representative of the business at industry events, and in all interactions and therefore, integrity, professionalism, expertise, and charisma are required.
Task and responsibilities
The role offers varied, interesting, and fast-paced work within a high-performing and stimulating environment. You will be working with the Senior Management Team to:
- Lead the Partnerships strategy to deliver company targets.
- Identify and connect with new potential partners in collaboration with the Grants team.
- Manage the Marketing Executive to create media to build awareness and new leads and manage exhibition booths.
- Attend congresses to identify, meet with and build new relationships with potential partners.
- Maintain and expand contacts with all potential and current partners.
- Proactively following up partners and maintain CRM database and forecasting trackers.
The candidate
The successful candidate will most likely have a:
- A life sciences degree (or similar qualifications considered).
- Previous experience in a life sciences business development, medico-marketing or similar role.
- Oncology experience helpful but not essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent abilities to build and maintain rapport as an ambassador of the company.
- Team management skills (preferable, but not essential).
- Analytical, research and planning skills with the ability organize and manage multiple projects at once.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, cutting-edge publishing environment.

Salary: £70,000.00-£90,000.00 per year
