Your role
- lead a team providing technical support where required within the following areas of responsibility including, but not limited to:
- book Keeping, financial Statement preparation, suspense and associated tasks for client structures;
- management Information, regulatory (e.g. FATCA/CRS) and internal reporting and associated tasks;
- fees/billing and office Management and support, where required.
- undertake regular meetings with direct reports to discuss performance and development goals;
- undertake ad-hoc meetings with direct reports to provide technical support and guidance on operational matters;
- be responsible for Operation’s delivery of services/work in a timely, accurate and of high quality;
- ensure that all services provided by the Operations team is excellent;
- have a positive and solution orientated approach liaising with colleagues where required;
- work with internal control functions where required;
- work with external advisors where required;
- provide guidance and support on technical matters to internal colleagues within TFE
- identify and manage risks within the team and escalate any concerns;
- undertake other ad hoc tasks as requested by the Head of Trust and Head of TF&E;
- provide accurate reporting on operational matters as requested from time to time;
- attend and contribute to Management Committee Meetings;
- ensure reports required by members of the senior management team and for governance meetings including, but not limited to board meetings and management committee meetings are provided;
- work with the senior management team to identify and implement changes with processes and procedures to create efficiencies and improve quality of work within Operations and the trust business;
- communicate effectively with colleagues and peers; and
- comply with all laws, regulations, policies and standards, contributing to an effective risk culture.

Your expertise
- a relevant professional qualification e.g. accounting;
- experience in team leadership;
- a minimum of ten years' experience in financial services, ideally with an operational or finance focus;
- knowledge of Trust and Company law and associated accounting practices; and
- excellent interpersonal skills to develop close working relationships with both colleagues and clients.

- highly organized and detail-orientated;
- comfortable working under pressure and to deadlines;
- confident with systems; and
- self-motivated and enthusiastic.
