We are seeking to appoint a HR Business Partner to join our small but very busy HR Team in Preston, working 37.5 hours per week. This role offers hybrid working between home and our Preston Office.

About the role:

in this role, you will:

  • Work as part of the national People Services – HR team delivering first class HR expertise to the charity and its 1,000+ employees across the full range of HR activities and topics.
  • Deliver to and partner with the Regional Management Team with a view to actively manage the HR services within the Region providing high quality and responsive advice.
  • Advise on the application of employment law and policies, and the resolution of complex staffing issues to managers and staff.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the People Strategy including the review and update of HR policies and procedures in line with employment law changes and organisational developments and changes

You will need:

  • To be very well organised, flexible, friendly and discreet
  • Have a genuine interest in Victim Supports Values
  • To deliver excellence in HR related matters, maintaining your own workload, ensuring you provide an accurate and timely service to the managers and employees
  • To manage internal relations well
  • A CIPD at a minimum level 5, is required.
