Position: Head of Operations for Progeny Asset Management – UK & Global
Location: Remote - with a requirement to travel to our Leeds office
Progeny Asset Management (PAM) provides a Discretionary Investment Service for a combination of individuals, trusts, companies, and pension funds. We are currently entering an exciting phase of growth and succession, which includes expansion overseas.
As Head of Operations, you will help develop, oversee, manage, and execute all aspects of the firm’s operations plan, driving continuous improvement and efficiencies and overseeing operational processes across the whole business both in the UK and Overseas.
To be successful you’ll need to bring…
- Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma or equivalent is desirable.
- Experience working within a similar role within a similar industry is essential.
- Substantive experience in managing large operational teams in the financial services sector (Experience in managing teams of more than thirty people essential) at a UK and Overseas level.
- A strong track record of managing an operations team at an Asset Management business.
- Experience/knowledge of CRMs, Retail platforms, custodians and Portfolio Management systems.
- Business improvement/change management experience.
- A detailed understanding and knowledge of relevant regulatory rules (e.g., FCA, MiFID II / GDPR)
- Understanding of a Discretionary fund manager’s end-to-end process and target operating model.
