As a vital member of the Federations’ Senior Management Team, you will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of the Federations’ Operational services.
The Head of Operations sets the standard and is accountable for ensuring the successful daily delivery of the Operational Services within The Federation. Using a continuous improvement approach, you will provide practical, high-quality, safe patient care that meets the needs of patients and can be met within the allocated budget.
By joining our team you will be responsible for the operational management, performance and planning of Federation services, ensuring that crucial quality, service deliverables and financial objectives are met.
Job summary
- Provide support and guidance to Service Operations and Associate Service Managers, being a point of contact for service issues and escalating appropriately.
- Take responsiblity for the safe delivery of services with maximum efficiency, promoting service improvement and best clinical pathways and ensuring that regulatory targets and compliance against quality, risk and governance standards are met.
- Support the Federation as a key player in providing high-quality health services in West London and helping strengthen its collaborative partnership working.
- Represent the Federation in all settings as a professional and patient-focused organisation building positive relationships at all levels.

We aim to improve care for patients by working collaboratively across primary care and our partners as part of the Place-Based Partnership. The West London GP Fed team also works to develop and support individual GP practices, PCNs and Neighbourhoods and their changing needs. We are ‘of the NHS’ but independent, innovative and transformational.General capacity across primary care is being expanded rapidly.

Salary: £65,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
