Head of Operations
Salary: Dependent on experience
Location: This role is based at our beautiful Head Office in Liphook with excellent travel links.
We're looking for a passionate and experienced senior Head of Operations to lead the Operations team at the largest and fastest growing Rock School in the world. Rocksteady have been delivering progressive and inclusive music lessons for over 15 years, sending passionate musicians into schools to teach primary school children how to perform music in a band.
The Role
- Senior Leadership Team (SLT) level position.
- Leadership and management of the operations team – a core function of the business that supports all other departments.
- Identify, implement, and manage efficient processes and standards that support our fast-growing business.
- Support customer service, sales, and marketing to create incredible experiences for our customers.
- Work with the rest of the business to ensure as many children as possible can access our lessons by creating appropriate infrastructure, policies, and support.
- Oversee the implementation and smooth running of technology solutions throughout the company.
- Evaluate risk and ensure high levels of governance across the business.
- Manage department budget and forecast.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as Head of Operations or similar senior role
- Experience of managing stakeholders across different business functions including, customer service, sales, marketing, HR
- Experience of management of IT systems and strong MS Excel skills
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data analysis to solve problems
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Strong organisation skills with a focus on improving performance
- Ambitious, driven and passionate about making a difference
- Adaptable and flexible
- Motivated by working in a fast-growing company with purpose
- Knowledge of the education sector, digital platforms and/or music is desired but not essential
