This role can be based in London or Amsterdam
In this exciting new position for Nivoda, as our Head of Marketing, you will be a key player in driving the global growth and success of a leading B2B e-commerce platform that is revolutionising the jewellery industry. With your proven track record of developing and executing innovative marketing strategies, you will lead the development of the company's marketing plans and oversee the implementation of these plans across all channels.
Reporting to the CEO, you will work in close collaboration with sales, product development, and other functions, and leverage data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and optimise performance.

What you’ll do
- Play a strategic leadership role in designing a cutting-edge Marketing Strategy through evidence based research and analysis that will both increase market share and drive down customer acquisition costs (CAC)
- Gather data on prospects and existing customers, market trends and competitive landscape to support new product development, identify opportunities and make data-driven marketing decisions.
- Provide effective leadership and management to a marketing team of 4, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a high-performance culture
- Drive both internal and external brand positioning and messaging to effectively communicate Nivoda's value proposition to target audiences
- Own the marketing budget and allocate funds strategically across various marketing initiatives, campaigns, and channels to ensure that it is spent effectively and generates the maximum possible growth
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Operations teams to support demand generation, lead nurturing, and customer retention initiatives.
- Automate manual processes and drive efficiencies in marketing, transitioning from ad hoc scraping and campaigns to a structured approach that delivers qualified leads
- Drive the testing and identification of the best-performing marketing channels, such as content marketing, PPC (ROAS), meta, LinkedIn, podcasts, physical brochures, trade shows, PR, and paid advertising to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for optimisation
- Create meaningful reports that provide valuable insights into the marketing performance and contribute to data-driven decision-making
- Develop and execute referral programs that drive customer acquisition, brand advocacy, and business growth
What you’ll need
- 8 - 12 years of experience in marketing, most recently in a B2B marketplace or eCommerce organisation
- In-depth knowledge of lead gen, ad buying and marketing principles, techniques, and best practices across various channels, with a focus on digital marketing within the B2B landscape
- Experience in a fast growing company (100%+ revenue growth) ideally through series A - C fundraising
- Data-driven, quantitative approach with a strong analytical ability to measure and optimise marketing performance and improving conversion rates throughout the funnel
- Proven track record of driving down CAC and devising a multi-channel marketing strategy around that objective
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate business objectives into effective marketing strategies
- Excellent leadership and people management skills with 3+ years experience leading a team
- Proficient in digital marketing, content marketing, social media, and marketing automation platforms
- Extremely hands on. Is an effective manager but would willing to get your hands dirty
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and strategic partners to enhance brand visibility and generate positive PR opportunities.
