Job description
About the Job
Are you 16 to 24 years old and looking to start a career in Customer Service?
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, hard-working young person to train with us for 18 months within our Customer Service Team.
Our growing Customer Service Team is the first point of contact for our tenants and customers. We offer housing information and advice, deal with queries and complaints, take account payments and repair requests and process housing applications.
Working alongside the Customer Service Team, you will provide our customers with excellent customer service as well as gaining knowledge and experience in tenant engagement and customer communication, including communicating with our customers via our social media accounts.
About You
You’ll ideally study towards and gain a qualification in Customer Service and/or a Chartered Institute of Housing Level 2/3 qualification over the 18 month period. You will also complete the ‘Shelter: Housing Law and Advice’ qualification during your traineeship.
You’ll train through a mixture of work-based and college-based learning, gaining qualifications and valuable work experience in the field. Whilst there is no guarantee of a permanent job with us at the end of the traineeship, we think you’ll be in a great position to take the next step in your career.
To be considered for this traineeship, your 24th birthday must be before 1 September 2023
We Offer
