HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

To ensure outstanding ‘best in class’ brand representation and image, through marketing, PR, activations & events, and digital means, with all designated IWC retailers, internal boutiques (Battersea and New Bond Street) and media all times. Holds responsibility for the local marketing and communications activity for the UK and Ireland.

  • Create and implement the Marketing & Communications Plan, working in synergy with the Retail, Sales and HQ teams to deliver a 360˚ programme of year-round initiatives and activations
  • Create synergy between departments
  • Manage the digital strategy of the brand and e-commerce partners
  • Develop influential relationships with external partners that will add value and drive business
  • Full UK and Ireland budget management and reconciliation
  • Deliver a full omnichannel marketing and PR strategy to present at the annual business plan
  • Manage the members of the marketing team

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

Media:

  • Lead the media planning for print, out of home and digital across innovative, brand first initiatives
  • Work with the media agency to devise the most effective media plan, ensuring visibility and positioning, improving Share of Voice and delivering multi-channel interactive campaigns that will increase awareness

Partnerships & Events:

  • Project lead large scale brand partnership events and activations
  • Manage the main brand partnerships: Goodwood Members’ Meeting, Goodwood Road Race Club, Formula 1, Mercedes e-sports, Mercedes Formula 1 AMG Petronas

Communications:

  • Create and deliver a yearly programme of PR events that would successfully help communicate the brand’s key messaging
  • Lead the social media communications strategy for local Instagram account as well as wholesaler partner account activity
  • Develop and lead the opinion former & influencer programme as well as IWC ambassador programme for all localised PR opportunities, red carpet and contracts
  • Maintain and develop key relationships with senior press

Wholesale Marketing:

  • Lead the UK wholesale marketing strategy with bespoke marketing and comms plans per point of sale and for IWC External Boutiques
  • Work closely with the Sales team to manage all marketing and comms actions relating to the distribution
  • Manage and develop the brand’s presence, content and participation within wholesale partners collateral, both in print and online
  • Manage the e-retailer relationships and build brand representation across wholesale partners websites

Retail Marketing & CRM:

  • Identify and build influential partnerships to drive customer recruitment through a calendar of initiatives
  • Create, plan and manage the rollout of CRM programmes, campaigns and clientelling initiatives for the Internal Boutiques (Battersea and New Bond Street)
  • Create and deliver highly personalised and targeted customer experiences and pop-up activations

Digital:

  • Manage the digital brand strategy across IWC.com, e-commerce and social
  • Create engaging mobile and cross-marketing initiatives to drive traffic online and to instore
  • Increase the brand’s digital presence and reach with wholesale partners and optimise content for best visibility

Management:

  • Provide leadership, support, and develop team members confidence, skills and effectiveness in relation to marketing, digital, CRM, partnerships, communications and events/activations

Internal Liaison:

  • Regular calls with HQ senior team to gain UK gain buy-in
  • Attend briefings and meetings as well as annual press and marketing seminars in the UK and Europe as needed
  • Ensure internal team are kept abreast of best practices and the latest marketing & communications
  • Regularly report on effectiveness of activity to senior management at HQ
