The Role - Head of Marketing

As part of the Growth Team, you’ll lead the marketing function at Catalyx. You’ll manage the development and execution of the Catalyx marketing strategy. Your goal will be to drive marketing leads into the business to push through the sales funnel, dramatically improve our awareness, and enable sales through an integrated approach with the Commercial team. Your goal will be to build a sustainable product-led marketing approach grounded in clear KPI’s.


  • Develop and execute quarterly lead-generation campaigns to drive MQLs
  • Create and execute best in class content that drives client engagement
  • Oversee execution of marketing activities across multiple channels and touchpoints
  • Own, improve and update sales assets for the Commercial team to effectively leverage in their sales journeys
  • Own and evolve the Catalyx brand and its owned assets to drive brand awareness with clients and be better known in the industry
  • Establish and optimise marketing KPIs linked to MQLs through to conversion tracking
  • Evolve the marketing strategy through data-led decision making
  • Manage and oversee the marketing team (internal and external resource)
  • Further embed and optimise an integrated growth marketing plan across the business so every Catalyx employee is a brand ambassador for growth

What we’re looking for

  • A B2B marketing expert with a proven track record of building a marketing engine that measurably grows awareness, lead generation and conversion optimisation
  • A background in Lead Generation and Brand Marketing
  • And a knowledge of Brand Building. You will be a strategic brand builder as well as a strong performance marketing expert.
  • Demonstrable experience in creating provocative content for thought-leader campaigns that trigger engagement
  • Experience in creating and managing media partnerships
  • Strong experience of working with, and getting the best out of Hubspot. You will be strongly metrics based, able to use data to drive decision making on how to optimise the marketing approach over time
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in utilising digital marketing strategies, including Social Selling, social media marketing, SEO web content and the corresponding analytics to measure ROI
  • Experience of working in a ground-up environment, with the ability to drive key initiatives and optimization of marketing activities and processes
  • A strong knowledge of increasing brand awareness in a business
  • You will have line managed other team members before and know how to best support them

It would also be nice for you to have

  • An understanding of the market research and insight space would be valuable also although not essential as long as you can articulate what we do and why this is a truly exciting way of disrupting the industry and unlocking value.
