Job purpose:
The Head of Marketing will lead the Manchester City Centre region portfolio within the Bruntwood SciTech Marketing team. It will be integral in driving the lead generation, brand awareness and commercial objectives within this region, marketing our assets across integrated campaigns. This role reports into the Marketing Director but will need the ability to manage senior stakeholders across Commercial, Brand, Development and Product .
What you’ll be doing:
Marketing
- The Head of Marketing will work closely alongside senior stakeholders within the Bruntwood SciTech teams, namely the Head of Commercial for Manchester City Centre and the Marketing Director to deliver integrated marketing plans to drive lead generation and customer acquisition.
- Lead the budget setting and management of the marketing budget for your region
- Deliver product and customer focused campaigns to grow and enhance the Bruntwood SciTech proposition within the market.
- Manage external agencies, making sure they deliver campaigns, pre-agreed KPIs and we receive efficient, high quality service.
- Work closely with our internal content and communication teams to develop the appropriate narrative and messaging for your portfolio
- Managing key dissatisfaction trends with our Voice of the Customer Lead and working collaboratively on surfacing the data and recommending key improvement areas.
- Review the performance of your team’s integrated marketing campaigns, analysing their impact on commercial targets and make improvements for future campaigns.
- Be data driven in your measurement of marketing performance and work closely with the digital marketing team to brief campaigns and understand their performance versus objectives.
Brand
- Develop overarching brand propositions for buildings, wider development schemes and the MCC portfolio as a whole, in line with the agreed Bruntwood SciTech brand architecture.
- Work closely with the Head of Brand & External Comms to evolve the brand positioning and identities across your portfolio.
- Liaise with the Head of Brand & External Comms on the PR and Comms plans across your portfolio, working closely with our agencies to seed out news and updates at relevant, timely intervals.
Team Management
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Exec to create, develop and ensure the effective delivery of integrated marketing and communications campaigns (including digital) to support the achievement of sales and lettings plan targets.
What we’re looking for:
- Marketing experience at a senior level across all channels
- Proven track of successfully delivered multi-channel marketing campaigns in previous roles
- Experience in property background or similar industry
- Experience of managing a team and a passion for developing people
- Strategic approach to delivering marketing strategies and plans
- Commercially minded and data driven
- Good budgeting and forecasting skills
- Creative and innovative in how we create campaigns
- University qualification in Marketing or equivalent CIM
