The National Trust’s ranger team at Blickling has an exciting opportunity for an apprentice ranger to work across the 4,600 acres making up the Estate. Carrying out a broad scope of works on sites throughout the listed park and wider estate including wetlands, grassland, woodland, wood pasture and lowland heath; this role brings all that this part of rural Norfolk has to offer to the right candidate.
You’ll be the face of the Trust to our visitors, neighbours and tenants and support the ranger team in delivering work plans and schedules. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team of volunteers to help with the management of the diverse landscape as well as collecting survey data to inform our management.
There will be a regular need for weekend work as well as occasional evenings and bank holidays.
