This role covers the whole of the International Division and aligning with partners in Group. Although we are currently in the UK, Continental Europe and Asia market, we see great opportunity to expand our markets in Australia. We are planning to grow the company and build a local presence in many more regions. To support this, we need to create a new position to centralise Procurement and Vendor Management and ensure we operate at the right standard with our suppliers strengthening economies of scale and undertaking high levels of diligence.
This position will be based in London with occasional international travel.
Role Purpose:
As a key member of the Operational team for the International Insurance, the Head of International Procurement and Vendor Management will direct and co ordinate across the business. They will support the business in ensuring the regulatory requirements for supplier agreements are followed during the vendor selection and onboarding process.
Key Accountabilities:

Support activities the long-term strategic objectives of the business.

Ensure the regulatory requirements for supplier agreements are followed during the vendor selection and onboarding process

Work with business owners to ensure suppliers are performing to contractual obligations,

Produce quarterly management reports on the performance of suppliers against SLAs and regulatory responsibilities

Maintain a log of required remediation actions and work with suppliers and business owners to resolve

Own the Policies and Procedures for Outsourcing Regulation, including the implementation of any changes required from future regulatory changes

Provide direction and coaching for internal resources already engaged in these activities, enhancing our permanent skill set.

Assist with the preparation of business cases and cost benefit analysis to support any requests for investment that may arise.
Professional Experience:
-
Experience of working in procurement in a regulated firm

Experience of working in a multi-national company, dealing with suppliers across multiple geographies is critical

Experience of the ongoing management of suppliers and reporting of performance to senior stakeholders against contract requirements
