Job description

Do you have what it takes to lead excellent employee experience? We are international architects of over 200 people working from nine offices across Europe and Latin America. We are looking for an experienced HR leader to establish an integrated group-wide HR strategy whilst reinforcing a strong and diverse workplace culture.

You’ll be encouraged to travel to each of our offices, which range in size (but are relatively small compared to most international companies), so you’ll quickly feel part of our friendly, supportive and multi-cultural team.

The role

As Head of HR, you’ll work collaboratively with the senior management teams across all offices to deliver insight, advice, guidance, and practical support to ensure we implement appropriate people strategies to deliver commercial and cultural success.

Working closely with our board of directors, you will also take the lead in developing and implementing core HR initiatives to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the business in the areas of: recruitment and retention, training and development, talent and succession planning, compensation and reward systems, wellbeing, HR policies, procedures and information systems; as well as partnering with the communication team on internal communications and employee engagement.

Your skills and experience

  • 5+ years’ relevant experience, ideally in a an international and/or professional services firm, and the ambition to develop your HR career.
  • Setting-up and leading HR for business growth
  • A solid understanding of HR best practice and commitment to progressive work practices
  • Experience of working as an HR manager or similar with exposure to case management and the ability to handle potential conflict and deal with complex issues.
  • Providing hands-on HR support including international employment law and legislation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven ability of communicating effectively with people at all levels of the organisation and working closely with key decision makers and stakeholders
  • Experience of implementing an innovative approach to HR delivery.
  • Experience of leading HR change projects/programmes.
  • Great organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
