Head of Housekeeping - Caravan & Camping Park
Full Time – Permanent
We are now recruiting for an enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated team.
The Offer
Salary £23,500 per annum (Mar to Oct 5.5days – Nov to Feb 4 days)

Situated in the Heart of Northumberland’s beautiful coastline and overlooking the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and Bamburgh Castle, five star quality assured Waren Caravan & Camping Park boasts amazing views, fantastic facilities and a warm welcome to customers and staff alike.
The guest accommodation currently comprises of 28 holiday caravans (not ever older than 5 years) and 8 wigwams, available from Mar-Nov each season. along with 1 Touring park and 1 x Wigwams WC & Shower Facilities, Bar and Restaurant, and Main reception.
This role may suit an active and energetic person who is seeking a new challenge and who has transferable skills to support the housekeeping team at Waren Caravan Park. Although the role is full time and permanent it is diverse in the sense that the park welcomes guests Mar-Nov each year and closes for maintenance during the winter.
Making a valid contribution to the running of the Caravan Park, the role reports to the general manager however expect the park assistant manager to routinely meet with the job holder and a day to day basis.
Aspects of the role:
- Lead the housekeeping team, maintain outstanding housekeeping standards in our holiday homes, wigwams, facilities and general park areas.
- Oversee in the planning and allocation of the seasonal housekeeping team’s work
- Training the housekeeping team in all department standards and procedures.
- Supervise spring cleaning and other special tasks
- Oversee the management of linen and cleaning products stock
- Liaise with reception and maintenance team when required
- Attend to guest requirements and requests
- Maintain accurate records of stock, accommodation standards, service recovery, cleaning schedules and training
Essential Experience:
- Friendly, outgoing and motivated to go the extra mile for guests and colleagues
- Pride in personal appearance and hygiene standards
- Inspirational leadership and supervisory skills
- Great attention to detail and always encouraging best practice and quality assurance
- Knowledge of cleaning processes and materials
- Knowledge of Health & Safety
- Willing to adopt a hands on approach
- A UK driving licence
Desirable Experience (not essential):

Working in a hospitality reception environment
- Previous Leadership experience
- First Aid Qualified
- I.T. Skills (basic)
- H&S Qualifications
- Other transferable qualifications
32 – 50 Hours per week (dependent on time of year) to include weekend and Bank Holidays, average hours per week per annum = 41
