The Role
You’ll join our newly established Strategic Finance/FP&A team which is a high performing, specialised group working directly with the Exec team and Founders. As we enter into our next phase of rapid growth and prepare for imminent international and product expansion, it is more crucial than ever for us to ensure we scale in a commercially sustainable way.
As the Head of FP&A, you will report to the Director of Strategic Finance with a high level of autonomy and responsibility, and exposure to our executive and senior leadership teams and influencing decisions.
This is a 16 month FTC covering maternity leave, and as we work in a highly collaborative way, you’ll make the biggest impact by being predominantly based in our London office (Paddington).
What you will do ...
- Lead the FP&A function, including forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis
- Provide financial analysis and modelling to support business decisions and strategic initiatives
- Translate the company's strategy into financial targets by developing a deep understanding of the business model.
- Own the multi-year financial model and use this model to support the planning and forecasting processes across the company.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g. Exec, Tribe VPs, Product Managers, and Finance teams) to gain insight and inputs / drivers for scenario planning
- Work on special ad hoc projects to support senior management
- Manage and support the development of a newly formed and growing FP&A team
What you will bring ...
- Accountancy qualification with solid experience leading an FP&A function
- Highly proficient in financial modelling
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; high degree of accuracy with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, you’ll adapt and tailor to a range of audiences at all levels
- Experience implementing forecasting and reporting systems would be highly desirable
- Strong leadership and coaching skills to drive the performance of your team
- A positive mindset with a hunger to understand how the business works
- You’ll thrive in our fast paced and at times ambiguous environment, enjoying real autonomy as you create collaborative partnerships between finance and other teams across Dojo
