Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 base depending on experience, plus full benefits listed below.

There’s so much more to HEINEKEN than meets the eye and right now, we’re looking for an ambitious Head of Finance to join our team. The successful applicant will play a critical role in helping the business deliver our commercial targets and objectives through business partnering our On Trade, Off Trade & Marketing teams, providing robust and insightful reporting and proactive management of the commercial cost base and balance sheet.
About the role
You will lead of team of c. 20 colleagues, providing business partnering to our Commercial Functions in order to make value-based decisions in line with Heineken Strategy. You will drive the development of the commercial strategies, governance and the execution of operational plans to achieve strategic goals. You’ll also align with our Revenue Management Teams to optimise company profitability.
So what will you be doing? Here’s some of the key responsibilities.
- Develop and implement a strong control environment within both functional business area and wider business to ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial information.
- Proactively work with functional business areas and Finance Leadership Teams to identify, analyse and exploit commercial business opportunities to ensure growth within the wider HUK.
- Identify common processes within HUK and ensure compliance combined with ensuring specific processes are established and implemented in accordance with Heineken framework & Behaviours.
- Lead and motivate a team of diverse individuals to optimise performance and impact on the business, ensuring clear line of sight between the deliverables and how these support HUK business challenges and opportunities.
- Member of the Finance Function Leadership Team, playing a key role as a member of that team in leading and driving the performance of the function and the business overall.
- Deputise for Finance Director in role as Board member for Joint Venture arrangement with SDE Technical Services
- Alignment with S&OP cycle to optimise company profitability.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a commercially aware controller with 9+years’ experience, who can demonstrate a track record of delivering a robust control environment within a fluid and fast-moving commercial area. Your pro-active and positive attitude will allow you to intervene on fundamental issues and exploit business opportunities to drive profitable growth.
You should have:
- Experience in people management or leadership
- Experience in working with Commercial teams
- The ability to successfully connect with different types of people
- The desire to inspire a team and drive to win
