Job description Head of End to End Testing Big Bank Funding. FinTech Thinking. Our multi-disciplined teams include: DevOps engineers, IT architects, front and back end developers, infrastructure specialists, cyber experts, as well as project and programme managers. Role Description: As part of the Global ISO20022 programme there is a need for a Programme Test Manager to redefine the Test Strategy as the programme moves into the commercialisation phase of delivery. The role will supervise and oversee the test delivery of Global Payment Services (GPS) asset implementations in 58 countries and markets. The Programme Test Manager will ensure consistency, quality, completeness and timely execution of test plans as well as increasing the test automation. The role will also own the SIT and UAT environments and will build a roadmap to improve availability, supportability and status dashboarding, and then be accountable for its delivery. The position will required to work collaboratively with various cross functional teams including business to oversee the testing for the organisation Responsibilities: To monitor, measure, control and report on the test progress, the product quality status and the test results, advising on test plan adaptation and compensating as needed to adjust to evolving conditions. Ensure effective defect management including triaging governance. Proactively identifying situations where defects block or delay test progress and escalating as necessary. Provide daily and weekly status reports to the programme governance leads to have an overall view (dependent upon the data available from the federated teams). Provide input into Post Implementation Review. Understand and drive testing across a wide array of projects for technologies in ISO20022 programme. The focus is to provide advice, oversight and governance of testing service planning, quality and timely execution. Creating and maintaining testing approach and strategy documents, advising on the creation and maintenance of, and quality of, entry and exit criteria, high level and detailed plans Aligns with corporate strategy and culture. Working with the Global delivery team including, Global Technology Programme Manager and Global Transformation Program Manager ensure common minimum testing standards are implemented globally Work with regional/country PM’s to ensure general test documentation is maintained i.e. plans risk, issues, action logs. Accountable and responsible for test strategy and test plan for programme. Integrates data and information from senior Business, IT and finance Teams to support the Roadmap Partner with the business and technical teams and create, maintain and report the required overview of the delivery Identify, create and maintain governance artefacts per the processes and tools including JIRA & confluence. Enables sharing of resources, methodologies, tools and techniques for project success across the organisation Identifies and develops test management methodology, best practices and standards Have experience and able to blend to regulatory programme working environment, that demands tight timeline delivery under pressure and effective stakeholder communication & management Experience of E2E Automated regression testing, smoke testing, daily health-check status reporting for the environment availability. Own the E2E Test environment; agree outage /deployment windows. Actively manage and improve environment stability and availability. Build dedicated team with L1/L2 knowledge to solve issues and actively manage outages. Define and control programme environment usage. Define the model for the team, both Automation and FTS support, including the resourcing structure Define and build a model where the team have access to Asset capability, or capability to resource L1/L2 Asset issues during an environment outage. Environment management leadership to build and lead global team to support all regions. Thought leadership to enable multiple testing trains to avoid currently single UAT environment constraint - not only for ISO but all other HV testing. Build a FTS team, with leadership positioned in the middle time zone, i.e. UK Continuation of the automated smoke testing to run multiple times a day to health-check the environment and provide automated dashboarding / availability reporting. Requirements Essential Skillset/Experience: Good understanding of the Payment domain and end to end (e2e) flows for domestic (ACH, RTP and RTGS) and ideally Cross Border payments scheme. Sound of understanding of payment formats such as ISO20022 Prior experience with delivering large size Test management in payments domain in finance industry. Ability to understand domain and draft integrated test approach and drive the e2e test execution & delivery. A strong commitment to quality and efficiency Manage all aspects of RAID Prior experience in looking into improving environmental test strategy and test environment management Hybrid role based in London – Office work 1 to 2 day per week Continue to grow with our internal opportunities.
