Your Company:
The team at NET Recruit are working with an independent marketing business located in the heart of Bournemouth to support them in their search for a Head of Digital to join their growing team. As a business that started small, they have developed their business strategy to an extraordinary level and now partner with globally recognised brands within the food and beverage industry, among others.
This role will prove to have great importance in the delivery of their service, as the post holder will lead a digital team consisting of employees across all levels within their careers to cohesively come together and execute multiple projects that meet the specification and needs of their clients in terms of their websites, web pages and software applications. Under this position, there will be project managers to work closely with, ensuring that resources are used effectively, liaising with clients on a direct basis, to guide them through each stage of the process.

The company is looking for a highly experienced digital professional to fill this position, with a strong background in digital project management, supported by strong people management skills. As much of the role will be involved in the whole digital process for each client, overseeing the journey from concept to delivery, the successful candidate will have proven experience handling this process previously and working on effective digital marketing strategies. Additionally, the candidate they are looking for will be a highly diligent and organised person, who's ability to control multiple variables within many projects at once, and not let anything slip past unnoticed, is unmatched. Having a commercial aptitude and the ability to, not only think creatively but also, digest and process useful data will be highly valuable in this role.
What you will get in Return:
As the successful candidate you will receive a starting salary of up to £65,000, which is highly dependent on previous experience and relevant knowledge that can be utilised within the role. The package associated with this position will include a holiday allocation of 25 days, plus bank holidays, with an additional 3 days off at Christmas and also a day for your birthday. As well as this, the company provide comprehensive medical cover and an administration concierge service to support each employees' needs.
The company desire a successful candidate to be in the office as much as possible, however they are happy to discuss possible hybrid working solutions, with the possibility of this being changed to allow one day working from home. Time spent in the office however will benefit from outstanding, newly refurbished office spaces, providing cutting edge technology and even a drinks bar within the premises.
The uniqueness of this role will provide industry exposure, usually unheard of for a company of this size. - Heading up the digital service that the company offers to all clients, ensuring it is offered and distributed cohesively
- Managing multiple digital projects at any given time, ensuring the resources are utilised appropriately and client needs are met
- Leading the entire process from inception and concept to launch for the building of client websites, web apps and other applications
- Acting as the line manager for the digital design team, encompassing project managers, marketing managers, developers and designers
- Overseeing the delivery of digital campaigns to customers, ensuring performance is maximised and future learning points are addressed across the business
- Working closely with agency partners across the business, to ensure that relationships are kept strong and that maximum return on investment is obtained
- Staying on top of digital trends and market information and integrating them with future business plans where appropriate to give a market advantage
