We are looking for a Head of Customer and Operational Analytics to join our Analytics team within our Data practice – a well-established team that delivers data-driven actionable insights to all areas of the business.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Partnering with the business to understand their customer and business performance insights requirements, and delivering customer insight and analytics to enable better decisions and enhanced customer experience
- Setting up the operational framework for the usage and evolution of the Customer Data Platform by a cross section of teams (Analytics, CRM, ecommerce)
- Supporting the delivery of the end-to-end personalisation strategy through identifying opportunities, business case development and prioritisation of commercial and technical initiatives
- Owning the evolution and re-platforming of the Single Customer View
- Driving the development of business propositions through leveraging the customer, commercial and operational data assets
- Identifying the right level of insight development and deployment for each use case –creating store clusters for ranging, customer segments and cohorts for online and CRM deployment
- Driving the delivery of actionable insight - working with business teams to identify opportunities to grow revenue and margin, reduce risks and costs & optimise the use of resources.
- Providing thought leadership to Currys pricing function and management of a dedicated team of data scientists and data engineers.
Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Strong understanding of commercial analysis gained within retail, services or CPG sector
- Strong experience in customer, pricing and operational analytics
- Experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams, strong leadership qualities
- Communicate data and insight clearly and concisely to various functions & stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Technical skills: familiarity with Databricks/ Alteryx, PowerBI and languages such as DAX, SQL, Python to enable challenge and review of technical solutions developed by the team
- Degree in quantitative field
