This pivotal, fast-paced, and exciting role will provide advice on critical communication issues and will ensure we convey positive and engaging messages that raise the profile of the Council with our residents, stakeholders, and colleagues. You will have a strategic and creative mindset but also be able to provide a grip on key issues. With significant experience in working at a senior level within a large and complex organisation with comparable scale, scope and responsibilities, you will provide strong judgement, people skills and tenacity to deliver results. You will also be able to work and inspire confidence in a political environment.

This role is ‘Agile’ which means you will be home-based with occasional days in the office based on business needs.

The contractual work location for this role is listed above however you may be required to work from a range of work locations or sites within the Borough and may also be required to work from home, depending on the needs of the service.
