Job Description

Your key responsibilities as Head of Coffee Culture will consist of:
  • Is passionate about coffee and customer satisfaction delivering the very best product quality and customer experience
  • Can lead and inspire a team, creating a platform to develop skills and passion in both teams and customers alike
  • Is a good natural communicator who can share expertise, train, and develop the barista, hospitality beverage service teams
  • Ability to be well organised and able to multitask
  • Experience of managing teams in a hospitality or a retail environment

Working Pattern
: Monday to Friday, 40 Hours

Skills and Experience

The experience and knowledge we are looking for from our future Head of Coffee Culture;
Welcome and interact with customers, finding their preferences and using detailed knowledge to recommend coffee, other beverages and experiences they will enjoy

  • Lead and develop a high performing barista/counter team, ensuring the team understand their responsibilities and providing them with development, training, and support to deliver excellence
  • Maximise revenue by increasing sales through innovation and customer engagement
  • Maintain supplies of counter beverages in line with marketing and promotions
  • Organise and run coffee workshops and tasting events for client customers
  • Keep equipment working by following operating instructions, carrying out preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting breakdowns
  • Maintain a safe, hygienic and presentable work environment, following approved operating procedures, food safety guidelines and health and safety regulations
  • Enhance the customer and colleague experience by constantly seeking opportunities to add value and improve quality
  • Ability to deliver with passion coffee experiences and training evenings to customers and external teams
