The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Head of Climate to lead the development of our climate tech solutions offering. Companies of all sizes have pledged towards GHG emissions reduction for achievement of net zero targets. With our recently launched diginexClimate solution, our aim is to support companies of all sizes and asset managers by making carbon management easier, faster and more affordable. Our Head of Climate will be responsible for leading our climate strategy, implementation, and strategic client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Develop a 3-year strategy and implementation plan for diginexClimate as an integrated – and standalone climate tech solution.
- Collaborate on a day -to-day basis with product and research teams to inform feature development (setting targets, including SBTi, calculate GHG emissions scope 1-3, dashboards data visualization, smart recommendations, reduction and offset solutions).
- Support sales team in go-to-market activities in developing and implementing through leadership/studies and building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Work with teams in delivery of Climate focused advisory and technology projects for large enterprise clients.
- Represent the company in client meetings and at external events.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree climate, environmental science, business and economics, sustainability, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in sustainability and climate consulting
- Understanding of the global climate change agenda, with a focus on private sector efforts and climate leadership
- Understanding carbon foot-printing and accounting methodologies (i.e. GHG Protocol) and climate-related reporting frameworks (incl. TCFD, CDP)
- Good understanding of carbon credits, carbon markets, and corporate carbon offsetting trends
