The Head of Capital Works will play an active role in the operational leadership of Derby Homes, as well as being responsible to the Executive team and the Board.
The post-holder will:
- Help shape our strategic direction.
- Champion our Customer First vision.
- Maximise opportunities for the efficient delivery of Capital Projects.
- Ensure excellent planned maintenance and development services, from replacement components to the delivery of new homes.
- Ensure the sustainability of the organisation.
We are looking for innovative and people-focused candidates with experience of operating at a senior level within a complex organisation.
A track record of driving improvement within relevant operational services and managing budgets will be essential. Knowledge of the regulatory requirements and in particular those around health and safety for building services are essential.
