Permanent, Full Time, Monday – Friday, Company Car and Private Health Insurance
Salary £85,000.00 per annum with £120,000.00 OTE
THE JOB
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen at our state of the art Jaguar Land Rover facility in Shrewsbury.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will develop, cascade and deliver stretching but achievable operating plans with clear financial and customer service KPIs. Through proactive leadership you shall imbed customer first behaviours into all your staff. You will be pivotal in the recruitment, development and retention of a high performing team, as well as ensuring effective relationships are nurtured with customers, the manufacturer and suppliers.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who shares our passion for the brand through:
- Ensuring retailer financial performance is ahead of or in line with plan;
- Achieving sales volumes and profitability targets;
- Ensuring customer satisfaction results meet targets for all areas of the business;
- Ensuring staff turnover is minimal and that you recruit the best talent for your team;
- Ensuring staff engagement and training and development targets are delivered;
- Delivering developmental plans for all direct reports.
SKILLS
You should demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Commercial awareness and a good understanding of market trends & manufacturer initiatives
- Experience working in a busy retailer
- Ability to identify training and development needs
- Strong networking and leadership skills
This is not a position for a strategist or an administrator. We require a highly involved general manager who will be working in a customer facing environment, being an integral part of the sales and aftersales process.
